Welcome to the weekly edition of all the cool stuff I’ve browsed in the last week related to the blogging and social media niche.
I’ve been doing a series of videos about how to get your content into the cloud, meaning, how to take what you’re publishing on your blog and get it into the cloud of content consumption in which web users live and breathe each day
Rather than trying to create a video for each method, or even a single blog post, I thought I’d put together a lengthy list of a variety of ways. I wanted to do this partly to demonstrate the sheer magnitude of options, but also to give you a list from which you could select one, two, or even ten “doable” tasks to apply today.
- Write great content. (It all starts here.)
- Tell your friends and family… face-to-face.
- Email your friends and family to introduce your blog (but don’t spam strangers).
- Include a link to your blog in your email signature.

Welcome to the weekly edition of all the cool stuff I’ve browsed in the last week related to the blogging and social media niche. By the way, I thought I’d steal an opportunity to plug my email newsletter, still in development, but bound to be helpful! Subscribe here.
This week’s list is lengthy, partly because there were a few articles I felt were worthy of the attention of bloggers even though they aren’t specifically about blogging. I hope you enjoy the weekly reading!
These links are the result of my obsessive feed reading habits, which turns out to your benefit. I have heard that it’s sensory overload – too much to begin to read. If that’s the case, find the few titles that grab you and read them.
Quite honestly, there were so many “2009 in review” posts put out this week that there was little original material in my feed reader. Here are some of the ones I found worthy to tag for this week’s post.
With Christmas week, not quite as much blogging went on, and I didn’t read as much as usual, so the list is a bit shorter this week, but contains great quality links nonetheless. Enjoy!
