Who runs We Blog Better?

I’m Neil Egginton, a family man who got into web design by accident, discovered a passion for it and made it my full-time job. I’m slowly growing my business by offering reasonably priced solutions for people who are struggling online.

Since 2008 and my first (failed) attempt at building a website, I’ve been on a mission to find out what makes a website successful. Day after day I hunted for solutions.

I wasn’t happy with just having a website. I wanted one that worked. I wanted to be found on Google. I couldn’t just sit there staring at and admiring my website if no one else was. So I got to work and learned the ins & outs of what makes a website successful.

I knew WordPress was the best way to go, but I couldn’t find the perfect theme. Then I found the Genesis Framework by Studiopress.

From then on I’ve been lucky to have found my real passion in life. Building the perfect website.

My background in all things technical lead me to this passion of mine. From programming my parents’ VCR when I was 10 years old to installing and maintaining CATV and CCTV systems in England, Spain, Colombia, Peru and Russia.

Before settling on creating and tweaking websites, I was a TEFL teacher. I have a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge and TEFL diploma from FUNIBER.

But my education never finishes. As part of wanting to know what makes a website tick, I took, and passed, an SEO course. I’m currently studying for the content marketing certificate with Copyblogger, and my quest for knowledge won’t finish there.

So why should you hire me?

Well, nothing makes me happier than helping people succeed online.
