About

Kiesha Easley:
There’s so much to tell you, but in an attempt to keep from boring you until you want to gouge your eyes out, I’ll make this as brief as I can.

I’m currently a technical writer, and before that I was an English instructor at both secondary and college levels. I do consulting for local business owners who want help developing a web presence, I also freelance and ghostwrite both online and off.

I received both my Bachelors and Masters in English from the University of Toledo. While there, I was lucky enough to receive the Helen M. Fields Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Field of English in 2007. My undergrad concentration was Creative Writing yet somehow I’ve become a technical writer, which wasn’t quite what I envisioned. I thought I’d have several novels published by this time in my life, but currently I have none. Of course, I’m not giving up, but it’s definitely taking longer than I’d hoped. I have been working on a Christian non-fiction book for the past year and I’m in the process of looking for a publisher.

I’m currently the editor of my church newsletter and a part of the Mime Ministry (yes, white paint and robes – watch the video of you have moment), I know people find this creepy, but I actually love it!

I love traveling with my family. We’ve traveled all around the eastern US: Chicago (my fav), Detroit, Cleveland, Virginia Beach (another fav), Myrtle Beach, Daytona Beach, Orlando, Mississippi and wherever else in between. I eventually want to make it out west and see places such as LA, Vegas, and Phoenix. I’d like to go on a few mission trips to places like South Africa and Jamaica, maybe even Haiti. One day I’d like to tour in England, France, Mexico and China just because.

I love arts and crafts: sewing, painting, jewelry making, photography and scrap-booking.

I collect Barbies, Brats dolls and I love doll house miniatures.

Although this the last bit of info I’m offering about myself, it’s actually the most important and what I’m most proud of:
I’ve been married for 16 years with three children.

Anyway, that is me. If you’re still reading I guess that means you still have both of your eyes and have chosen not to gouge them out in boredom.

Brandon CoxBrandon Cox:

I’m Brandon Cox, a Pastor, logo, identity, and web designer, and I also blog at Life Here and There, Fuel Your Blogging, and CreativeCox. I’m married to Angie and we have a daughter, another child on the way, and a little dog named Beau.

The title of this blog is a play on words. It can be “we blog better” or how to “weblog better.” The goal is simple. I want to write articles to help us all blog a little better. My own favorite subject is effectiveness in communicating via the written word, but I’ll also touch on design, coding, monetization, traffic, seo, and a whole lot of other things.

I’m open to guest posts if you’re open to writing one, and I enjoy the blogging community as a whole, so I’m happy to help promote good blogs anyway I can. Thanks for dropping by!
