It is time to celebrate the summer with some new content and a brand new contest from MyBlogGuest!
From now until August 10th, you can win $1,000 just for publishing free content onto your blog, and promoting it through social media.
How Does It Work
Sign into MyBloGuest and head over to their Article Gallery. Search through the high quality posts from writers in every category, and pick your favorites.
When you find a post (or more) that you want to feature on your own site, make them an offer. If they accept, you can publish it with their byline and you automatically become a participant in the contest.
Take the URL to that post and share it in this thread, share it on your social media site and use the Help Needed forum to promote it.
How Is A Winner Selected
At the end of the August 10th deadline, all submissions will be checked for social media shares, comments and how well you promoted the writer. This ensures both exposure for the blog owner and the content provider equally with every post.
The person with the highest results from the post will get the grand prize. However, everyone is a winner, as they have gotten both free, fresh content and a ton of promotion just from participating!
Rules and Restrictions
- All articles used must come from the Article Gallery.
- All participating blogs much have a Google PR of 2 or higher.
- All posts must have comments open, without required registration.
- All posts must have Facebook and Twitter buttons active.
- Social media vote buying is prohibited.
- Comment buying is prohibited.
- Bribes and promises to share prizes for help in winning is prohibited.
- Changes to publication dates are prohibited.

A web forum related to a gender studies class has linked to a blog article I wrote for a different site, as a guest blogger. It is kind of strange seeing people cite and comment on what was said in the guest blog, like I am in the room and being talked about, not to :)
