An affirmation is a statement that you believe so truly that it becomes a reality.
These affirmations really do work, if you really do believe them.
By using affirmations to attain weight loss goals or goals related to your writing or blogging business, you will be able to drop pounds, tone up, and start making money doing something you love.
The power to change is in your hands, you just need to be ready and willing to work towards the change.
Start by Clarifying Your Goal
Determining a goal and finding a plan will help you decide your affirmations. Create goals with as much detail as you can, while still promoting a positive feeling. To help myself clarify my goals I usually find pictures of them and I put them on my wish board.
For example, when I start a new blog that I want it to make $100 a day then I find an image of $100, I print it and I stick it on my wall. If I decide to lose weight and get more toned up I find a photo of a person who already has this look and I stick this on my wall so that I see it every time I come in and out of my room.
This kind of goal clarification is very effective and it is highly recommended by most weight loss and diet organizations that offer DietToGo and Bistro MD. This positivity will reinforce your goals and bring you one step closer to achieving them.
Be Realistic
Making affirmations like “I am going to make $10,000 my first blogging month” cannot be true or are far from the truth. They will leave you frustrated as you don’t see any change by this belief.
Release Negative Emotions
If you have a set goal but feel worried, stressed or anxious about achieving that goal, then these negative feelings will resist your intentions and make it much more difficult to attain your goals. The first step here is to just acknowledge any resistance you have to your goals and then begin to let them go. Once you can let these go, your results will become attainable.
Be Open to Change
By speaking, writing or reading your affirmations, you will become more attracted—and attractive—to your goals. Along with staying positive, it is important to be open to the change that you will receive through these affirmations. Because they are your truth, you shouldn’t have any resistance to the idea of change for betterment. If you find you do have resistance to your affirmations and cannot be open to change, you may need to adjust your affirmations so they ring true for you.
An Example of 10 Positive Affirmations
These affirmations are phrased in “I am” statements, which give you the power to create and mold yourself into what you want to be.
Try these affirmations related to weight loss and blogging, or create your own positive, inspired affirmations that speak true to you:
1. I am a blessed, gifted person.
2. I am a healthy, productive person.
3. I am a confident, inspired, creative blogger.
4. I am making this world a better place by being a healthy, happy person.
5. I am receiving more income because of my writing talent.
6. I am giving others the gift of my words, whether I receive compensation or not.
7. I am becoming stronger day by day.
8. I am thankful for my body and so I give it the nutrition, rest and exercise it needs.
9. I am thankful for my mind and so I give it the exercise, rest and renewal it needs.
10. I deserve to make money from my blog because I add value to other peoples lives.






Loosing weight is not an easy task. Physically may be it is, but mentally its challenging. I have been trying past 1 year shedding some kilos but all efforts in vain. But Latasri, your idea of sticking the photo of a person who have physique that we dream is truly inspirational and i will surely apply it to my self. I hope and wish that it motivates lethargics like me to get up and get moving to achieve our dream.

“I am a” sould be replaced “I am becoming a”, cause even though a person is saying “I am”, he’s probably having a feeling of being lying to himself. When he says “becoming”, there is no conflict in his mind.
Positive Affirmations do work because they put you in the headspace of a winner and that’s where you need to be to succeed. It’s incredible how often people can get depressed and negative about their life and then act surprised when bad things start to happen. While positive affirmation isn’t the ‘magical secret’ that some snake oil salesmen claim it to be, it is certainly a wonderful, uplifting approach to life to have!
Shedding your excess weight is not an easy task. You really have to struggle a lot. It is more difficult because here you have to fight with yourself. You have to give up all your unhealthy habit and start afresh. It will be difficult to change the life that once you thought was perfect but using affirmative talks will really make you have a positive approach to life.

I’m not one for formally setting goals. I should probably work on this habit. The main reason I don’t formal set goals is because I end up thinking about all that could go wrong along the way. Yep the negative gets to me. Affirmations just may help with all of this.

Absolutely, getting clear about goals is essential, as well as powerful. One thing about affirmations I’ve noticed, they are very effective in changing core beliefs and replacing the negative talk we all have with healthier thoughts. But precisely because of this, they can sound strange or untrue to us when we first start using them. But with practice, as they begin to replace the negative talk they become more and more true and reflective of our new positive approach. I highly recommend using positive affirmations as well as setting clear intentions and goals!
