There is a new social networking site on the rise, and it’s called Staree. Sure, we are already loaded up with enough social networks that we can handle, but this one is a bit different. Instead of being it’s own social network, Staree is unique because not only does it pull all of your social networking pages like Facebook and Twitter together, but it also allows you to update your profile page with text, photo and video updates. Oh yea… they also pay you in the process!
The Benefits of Using Staree
Staree recently came out of beta release and they are now accepting new members to join their site. What makes Staree stand out more than other web sites and social accounts, is that you can to brand your profile page with your own design, which definitely helps with your overall branding. For anyone that is currently branding themselves or has a blog or web site of their own, Staree is a great way to bring personality and life to your profile page.
In addition to being able to brand your profile page, you will also have links to your Facebook and Twitter accounts, have a “Ask Me a Question” option, and anyone who visits your page and looks through your updates can leave a comment at the bottom of each post.
How to Make Money with Staree
As mentioned, you can also make money with Staree, which is something new that many other social sites simply don’t offer. Staree is all about original content generation and rewarding users for their time and social efforts. Depending on how often you upload content and how many people visit your site, you will earn a few cents on average for each update made. Staree also has a great feature that places a “Copyright” notice on all of your image updates, this way no one can steal your content and use it as their own.
You can see one of the earnings charts to the right. Though it may only look like a few pennies now, this can quickly add up for anyone who likes to make a lot of updates and share their photos and videos with friends.
How to Get Setup with Your Own Staree Account
There are currently a ton of celebrities who are already using Staree and already have custom profile pages setup with the network. Just like Twitter and Facebook, you can setup your name as the profile url, so it’s important that you sign up and create an account before someone who also shares your name gets it first! Staree is currently accepting and creating profiles for users that have a higher social influence. All you need to do is visit Staree.com and apply for your own profile page.

Its a good to create personal branding awareness which is more important in business. Businesses generate better turn over if it has good reputation in the market regarding its ownership. Consumer who buys your product or services would always prefer to see the owner of the company that creates authority when it sees you have complete online profile not hiding anything else.

I thought the point about enhancing my profile with Staree was really interesting and it is something that I will look at with great interest as it appears to offer something a little better than what is “out there” currently, particularly in regard to branding and it will be fun to be in on the ground floor too. I like keeping an eye on things like Staree as they are released and gain popularity but wondered what you thought with regards to its niche. Facebook is mainly used by kids and twitter by nerds but what about Staree – who will be the main demographic?

Oh man. If I had a dollar for every time I heard about a new social media site or saw a social media pitch on kickstarter I would definitely be too rich to write this right now. I love how your embracing new social media and, for whoever build the site I commend, but how the heck is this any different than Instgram (other than video)??? Aside from the fact that they pay for good content, which is AMAZING, I am not seeing any differences between this site and the other ones that are already insanely popular. They allow you to post pictures and videos and earn money for great new content, but does it offer anything completely DIFFERENT than that of the current social media powerhouses? I will definitely read more about this Staree site, but I thought I might pick your brain a bit :-). Thanks for the post man, it was very intriguing.
