You read the title right – it’s NOT a typo, I definitely meant what I said: “Guest Hosting Contest” – and I’m happy to announce that this blog won the Grand Prize ($1000) for hosting a guest post from MyBlogGuest!
I couldn’t be more grateful!!!
Ann Smarty came up with this new innovative spin on the guest posting contest. What a great way to get more people hosting free high quality guest posts!
This has got to be one of the most brilliant ideas I’ve seen! It’s a fabulous way to promote the site and to honor the members of its community – this contest set out to award the sites that host the guest posts.
Entering was a no brainer – I couldn’t resist the offer, so I entered a few weeks ago when guest author, Tina, accepted my offer to host 5 Tips to Getting More Likes on Your Facebook Page. This post did extremely well – it got picked up by Social Media Today where it got over 3900 reads, 2000 shares on Twitter! I would’ve published this post whether there was a contest going on or not!
When MyBlogGuest first launched, I knew it was a site that was different and had major growth potential. Sometimes, the guest posts I receive just aren’t up to par, so when this happens periodically, I log in to MyBlogGuest to look for quality content, I visit the site and I’m rarely disappointed. There’s always something new and interesting brewing there.
I highly recommend this site if you’re looking to publish quality guest posts on your site.

This is the first I heard about this. I was actually searching something else and stumbled upon your blog.
I am not sure I have heard of Guest bloggers, I have heard or similar sites though. I never really participated in those guest blogging sites as I felt I really didn’t have anything to contribute to or actually not enough time. But, I do believe you can probably find some good bloggers for your own sites, which I should check out just for that cause as I recently just put up a new page for guest bloggers on my blog :)
