6 Magical Ways To Improve Your Blog, But Only If You Believe In Fairies

Print Friendly
Do you believe in fairies?

Do you believe in fairies?

Do you believe in fairies?

You don’t?

No point in reading this then.

It’s a shame, because if you’d said ‘yes’ your blog could have magically improved.

All you have to do is ‘believe’ and your blog can…

  • fly viral?
  • wizz to Page 1 on Google?
  • attract loads  and loads of subscribers?

I’m not promising, but if you’re still reading this, then there’s hope for a magical transformation.

Here are  6 Magical Ways To Improve Your blog, But Only If You Believe In Fairies.

1.  Your fairy will give you a magic wand.

Your magic wand is your fingers.

You type away until the post is done, but with your magic wand you will…

  • take plenty of time to choose the right words
  • edit your work carefully
  • write intriguing ideas to help your reader
  • craft your post until you know you have done your best.

With your Magic Wand your fingers will fly across the keys and inspiration will arrive. (I wish…)

2.   Your fairy will introduce you to some Wizards.

  • Wizard bloggers who can’t wait to pass on their tried and tsted tips.
  • Wizard sites like this who are waiting to share blogging innovations with you.
  • Wizard bloggers who will answer your queries and questions when you send an email flying their way.

Don’t feel shy! With your Wizards by your side, your blogging power will grow!

3.  Your fairy will give you some Fairy Dust.

You can sprinkle your Fairy Dust like this…

  • in the form of Magical Links amongst your posts to let your readers read some older posts of yours and posts of other bloggers that you recommend.  (Fairy Dust is precious so don’t over do the Magical Links.)
  • in the form of amazing images you have researched to enhance your words
  • in the form of showcasing your best posts (ooops! they are ALL your best, aren’t they!) on Twitter and Facebook

Once you start to sprinkle that Fairy Dust, your posts will sparkle.

4.   Your fairy will protect you from the Wicked Witch.

The wicked witch cannot wait to cast her evil spells of…

  • self doubt
  • procrastination
  • blog despair
  • blog burn-out
  • blog envy
  • blog boredom

Your fairy will help you to ride out those storms or shelter from them if they arrive.

5.   Your fairy will show you where to find companionship, friendship and support.

She knows all about the A-List Bloggers Club, We Blog Better, Problogger, Copyblogger and all the other magical sites that are there to help.

When the Wicked Witch lurks nearby, all you need to do is switch on your computer and contact all the amazing help out there.  Your problem is not unique. We’ve all come across the same issues and have written about how to overcome them. All you have to do is ask.

6.   Your fairy can fly with you to new places.

She can show you how to Think Outside Your ‘Normal Blogging Box.’

You could…

  • conjure up a memorable analogy to illustrate a point,
  • dare to try a humorous approach,
  • use a U-Tube clip to express what you can’t say in words on the page,
  • write a very short post,
  • write a series of posts,
  • give away an eBook,
  • feature an interview with an esteemed blogger,
  • write your first Guest Post, even if you’re nervous,
  • consider a fresh look for your blog or just a few Magic tweaks.

Do you want to Magically improve your blog?

Yes?

Well… you know what  to do…

Please tell us in the Comments about the most Magical Way you’ve found to improve your blog.

We’d all like to do the same with ours!

Writing intriguing topics can be a best choice, but I personally believe that bloggers must also be responsible of their thoughts. Otherwise, their blogging careers or even their lives will be placed into danger if other people involved get affected of the issues.

    Hi Linda,

Love to have that fairy behind me but not necessary :) with the right knowledge and little dedication anyone can make their blog improve like anything. Don’t give up when you are down, just focus on your own work and don’t think about competition – this is what i believe in and it gave me good results.

Quitters never win and winners never quit.!!

Thanks Linda for a refreshing article.:)

      • Hey Linda, glad to hear about the free ebook. Perhaps this is something you can help me with (or give me suggestions!) I am offering a free ebook (linked in my name) and was hoping/expecting for a strong showing. Even though it is one of the most popular post this week, it hasn’t quite picked up the way I planned. Did I do something wrong?

        Would appreciate your advice :)

Very entertaining post. I like the way on how you blended magic with reality. The only thing not magical is the fact that blog improvements don’t happen overnight. But with these magical tools you mention, it’s definitely on its way to get there. Thanks for the tips, Linda!

Linda….ahhh what a magical post, I love how you blend the magic and sparkle of life with the hands -on-lets-get-on-with-and-do-the work aspect of work. Great post…am still smiling and feeling fuzzy inside. And its that fuzzy-feel-good factor which encourages us to keep on doing the work and seeking our wizards and overcoming the wicked witch of the west…Oh we are off to see the wizard..the wonderful wizard of OZ….

  24. Very creative post, Linda!

I’ll never stop believing in angels and miracles.

    But “fairies”?

My fairy godblogger hasn’t introduced me to any wizards lately and I think her magic wand is in the shop for repairs.

She did write to let me know she’s got several jars of fairy dust on back order. Seems her supplier is currently out of stock and can’t promise exactly when her order will arrive. LOL

    Really fun analogy!
