  1. I really liked the 2nd video, she’s a great speaker, great contest, i love the concept

  2. Hi Kiesha, Ana offers some powerful tactics in those videos. This weeks challenge should be huge! Thanks for sharing the vids with us.

  3. Isng this exciting. Am looking fwd to using the tips suggested by Ana. Giving thanks.

  4. Well, I feel as if I have not been booted off the island at all! Talk about special training! Thanks Kiesha and Ana for sharing these videos.

I’m not placing any bets on this one! All four contestants have a variety of tools (okay, offensive weapons like cudgels and flint knives).

    Good luck, y’all!

    Cheers,

    Mitch

    • its called luuurve…makes the world go round—

      • ((hugs Ntathu and holds up her fingers in a “V” behind Ntathu’s head like “rabbit ears” as she grins)) Exactly. We’re just gonna luuuuuuuurve each other to death over here.

        ::giggles::

Get yer post up, Ntathu. You can easily catch me today – it’s Scout day. Tomorrow, I’ll have more time for this “insanity.” Now go – write!!

Okay, now, the rest of you – see that link down there? The CommentLuv one? “Short Term Goals, Long Term Vision”? Go, check it out. There’s even a free report in there on my experiments with increasing Alexa rank – what worked for me. (I really should add, at this point, that it’s a LOT easier to do it with a great team – you can see that from the Alexa rank on TheNextGoal.com.)

  5. This is perfect timing for me! I am so glad that I found this now because my blog post in the Famous Bloggers contest just went live. I can’t wait to get into Ana’s videos. Beside being incredibly smart I love listening to that great accent of hers!

  6. Woah!
This is really the craziest objectives! But I loved the way how it proves that one blogger is that popular in this blogosphere. This would become an awesome event and I hoped lots of blogger would participate. I would share this article of yours unto my friends. :D

  7. Insane is right. :) Great videos by Anna, I’ve been a fan of her work. Thank you for sharing. This week’s challenge should be a fun one. Definitely excited to see what will happen.

  8. Wow, there is some creativity going on with this contest… and fun! Its great to see some outside the box SEO happening live.

  9. Leonor Miller says:

Thanks a lot for these videos! I have three blogs and it is only one blog that gets 2 page views per day but the page views for other two blogs are stagnant. I hope these tricks and tips help me get more traffic.

    • It’s ironic that Prunebutt (see the “Play to Your Strengths” post linked to below) was born during the Alexa experiment (see the free report I’m giving away in yesterday’s post, “Short Term Goals, Long Term Vision” ( http://thenextgoal.com/2011/11/short-term-goal/ ) – can you say “irony”?

Can you say “reader smacks down author”? LOL!! It’s all good. We should all be so blessed, to have readers to be our own personal Jimminy Crickets.

  10. The videos from Ana are excellent, and we are (at least I am) busy getting traffic. So in that spirit, come over and I’ll offer ya’ll a free ebook (details in post!) :)

P.S: These challenges are not as easy as some might think. But The Next Goal is slowly being established, and I am sure that this week we can beat our highest incoming traffic of 880 views a day.

  11. I’ve been searching for some ways to increase traffic to my site and boy was I surprised with the methods presented here…good job.. I don’t think they are crazy though… Genius maybe…

    • Don’t forget your readers.

That should probably be the #1 tip, because without them… all the rest is rather pointless, if we’re really talking about BLOGGING.

One of mine staged an intervention last night. You can read about it in the link below. (There’s also a link to the comment that prompted it.)

  12. thanks for these videos. Hopefully the tips that i picked up from them will help me bring traffic and revenue to my blog.

  13. Hey Ana, that tactic in video 2 is one I have used a bunch of times in forum threads, but sparingly on blogs because some blog owners and especially if the post was guest written are taken aback when you answer questions that were sort of meant for them to answer. Some act as if you’re taking away their “shine”

    btw,
What video formatting do you use to make your site appear next to you while you’re sitting inside a TV??

  14. Christian Kent says:

There’s even a free report in there on my experiments with increasing Alexa rank – what worked for me. I can’t wait to get into Ana’s videos. I’ll go back and find yours, too. Good luck, y’all!

  15. Hi
Thank you for your post. I launched my blog – http://www.theSarayiahpost.com in late August 2011 and as of 28th Nov 2011 it had broken into the top 1m sites as ranked by Alexa and the top 10,000 for London. At time of writing it is now in the top 900k sites worldwide as ranked by Alexa

I am trying to help others by challenging their way of thinking in order to help them problem solve and take on the status quo using my unique experiences in order so that they can “be FREE be ALIVE be Truly HAPPY.”

Please take a look and leave a comment on the site telling me what you think etc.
    Have a wonderful day.
    Love
    Isaac Sarayiah
