How much money you make depends on how productive you are. If you doubled your productivity, you should double your profits. I think everyone would like to double their productivity, right? Wouldn’t it be amazing to make 100% more than what you are already making?
Many people want to increase their productivity
Many people would be very happy if they increased their productivity, but they don’t really know how to do that, or they know how to do that and don’t do that… If you don’t do what you should be doing, then I can’t help you! Stop reading this, I can’t help you if you don’t do things that have to be done… But, if you don’t know how to do that properly, I can give an advice.
What’s the secret?
Well, the secret is simple. Just use 80/20 rule. 80% of your efforts produce 20% of the result and 20% of your all efforts produce 80% of the result. Just do more of what currently produces a lot of money and drop everything else.
For example, if you are doing some video marketing, article marketing, forum marketing, ad swaps, but most of the traffic comes from article marketing, just do more of article marketing. But:
This secret itself is garbage!
Why? I want to ask you something. I think you already knew this secret, right? Have it dramatically changed your life? No? That’s exactly why this 80/20 rule is garbage! It helps, but it doesn’t change your life dramatically.
So what’s the secret of that secret???
So, what’s the secret of using 80/20 rule?
Well, it is simple. First of all, indentify what produces your results. Let’s say we are talking about getting traffic. Let’s say you get the most amount of traffic from article marketing.
Now, I want you to not only do more of article marketing. I want you to ask do it smarter. I want you to learn how to write an article of 500 words in 10 minutes. I want you to systematize everything. I want you to make this process as simple as possible. You have to create a system of your article marketing, so when you are doing that, you don’t have to think much about that. You are like a machine.
First of all, to get more traffic from article marketing, you should write more articles. You put a deadline of 20 minutes in the beginning on every article that you write. You study a course on how to write much faster and you make that deadline of 18 minutes. Then – 17 minutes. 16 minutes. 15 minutes. Once you can write an article in 15 minutes, try to do that in 14 minutes. If you achieve your 10 minutes goal, try to write an article in 9 minutes 50 seconds.
However, you will achieve a level when it is hard to improve. Then, try to increase other aspects of that thing. For article marketing, that may be submitting your articles to popular blogs instead of article directories. Then, you will find that some blogs bring you a lot of traffic and some don’t bring any traffic at all. You drop these that don’t generate traffic. These blogs that don’t generate you traffic is a waste of your time.
Later on, you will find that it is a good idea to repurpose your articles. You create tutorials from them, slides, pdfs and so on. You can outsource this easily for pennies. You improve this over time. You search for little improvements that make a big difference in the total result.
Okay, so that was article marketing. What if you get the most amount of profit from email marketing?
All what you need to do is figure out how to write emails faster. Maybe it takes 15 minutes for you to pick a headline. You might put a deadline to write it in 60 seconds. If you don’t write it in 60 seconds, you leave it empty. 60 seconds are more than enough to write 1-10 words, right?
Maybe it takes you 50 minutes to write the body of the email?
Put a deadline of 15 minutes. 15 minutes is more than enough. Now, suddenly you write 4 emails, instead of writing 1 email.
If you were sending just 3 emails per week, now you would be sending 12 emails per week and be making at least 3 times more money. Do you think 1-2 emails per day are too many emails?
God, it would be amazing if Bill Gates sent me 100 emails every day (if these emails provide value, of course)!
If people don’t like you, they will unsubscribe later anyway, so why don’t you speed up the whole process?
So, the fastest way to double your productivity is to find what brings results and then do it faster and more of it.
