Where to Find Blogging Jobs that Pay

More businesses are embracing the power of blogging more than ever.  Now companies are scurrying like mice trying fill the need. They are in desperate need of writers, social media strategists and bloggers who are willing to build an influential web presence.

Things are changing.  Every day there are more and more blogging jobs opening up.  New positions are being created.  Blogging is no longer just an experiment; it’s serious business.

With that said, the unusual nature of the beast makes the blogging job search unlike any other.  You won’t find anything of value in newspapers or popular job websites.  No, you’ve got to dig.

Well thankfully, there are sites out there that have already grabbed shovels and have dug in and removed that top soil layer for you.

A few great blogging  job boards to check out:

Sam’s Web Guide

Jobs.Problogger

So go on and start applying for those blogging dream jobs.  Don’t forget to dust off those resumes and update them with all of your blogging and writing experiences.  Separate yourself from the crowd by showing potential employers that you take this blogging thing seriously.

Good luck and much success to you!

So what sites have I missed?  Please tell us about your favorite blogging job board in the comments.  Post the link and tell us a little bit about the site.

    • Blogging is always a good thing to do online to build business, even if you have no idea on what to blog about. If you haven’t yet installed WordPress on your Los Angeles Website, College of Content recommends you doing so, and writing 1-3 unique blog posts daily. you’ll be surprised in six months time how much additional traffic comes your website, in addition to potential phone calls coming to your office in generating new leads from the Internet, just by blogging alone :-)

  5. Hi Kiesha,

There is also a new job board at My Blog Guest, and there have been some pretty good opportunities on it already.

Also, you touched on sites that will pay you to write about them on your own blog– I wrote a post about this, with quite a few of those sites:http://writeandgetpaid.wordpress.com/2010/08/19/pay-per-post-and-sponsored-reviews/

    Hope that helps

  10. Hey Keisha,
I love the idea of job boards on blogging sites because I think it’s a really direct way to help others. With the economy the way it is we all need more ways to find jobs.

At the risk of plugging myself (I wouldn’t normally, but I saw you ask for more job board links at the end of your post), I also run a job board on my blog if you wish to add it to your list.
