Guest post contest update: How we will proceed

It’s official, April’s Guest Post Contest is now closed

This guest post contest has been amazing! It’s very apparent that everyone really put their heart into their content and seriously brought the best they had to offer.

As you may have noticed, several new guest posters joined us this week – each one bringing something unique to the table.  I’m especially grateful for those guest posters who took it upon themselves to reply to comments. I hope everyone had an opportunity to connect and get to know each other and have made some mutually beneficial connections. That is, after all, what guest posting is about!

Here’s how we will proceed

I’m extending Winners’ Announcement Date – sorry :) – and here’s why: I had a few people express their concerns for how fair the contest would be for those who submitted their guest posts last – they felt that the deadline wouldn’t give those posters enough time to promote.  So now that all of the entries have been submitted, everyone has one additional week to promote their guest posts.

On Friday, May 7, 2010, I will check all the Retweet counters and will announce the winners then.
