For the past few days, I’ve been offering some video posts here about the cloud that surrounds content consumers today…
- Get Your Content Into the Cloud
- Infiltrating the Cloud In Which People Breathe
- Decrease the Distance by Growing Your Network
Today, I want to get a bit more specific about how to understand the cloud and begin to infiltrate it. The secret boils down to shifting your thinking. Your site doesn’t exist to consume users, it exists to feed users where they hang out.
And here’s the Youtube link to Your Site Is Just a Launching Pad Into the Cloud.

Brandon,
Do you have any link suggestions on how to make your blog available for Kindle? That suggestion really caught my ear.
Brad
P.S. I am going to nag you about the hissing S’s until it stops. Too much value not to listen, but the S’s are a little hard on the ears. ;)

Here you go sir, a link to a good Mashable article on how to publish your blog to the Amazon Kindle, which I haven’t done yet even though I mention it in the video. But I’m working on it now.
Hmmm … I didn’t know they charged a subscription fee to their users to read your blog. I’m not sure I like that, even know it is another way to monetize my blog. Thanks for the link though. I am going to file it away to reconsider in 6 months.

I am using mainly the same 3 you mentioned, and have really made some good connections on LinkedIn for my main business (fence products).
The mobile integration is something I have been working on recently too, so many people are getting info through there smartphones these days we have to embrace it.
What webcam do you use? The quality is really good…

Just my isight cam in my Macbook Pro. I have a JVC Everio and tripod, but the isight actually out-performs it.
