We Blog Better’s Best of November

Print Friendly

BloggeurNovember has absolutely flown by! Because of traveling and illness, I didn’t blog as much as I intended, but it seems the community has grown in spite of the absence. I’m extremely thankful to every reader and sponsor.

In case you were unconscious for several days after eating too much turkey, here is a summary of some of the best content from this blog during November…

One of my most popular posts so far, If You’re Not on Twitter, You May Not Exist examined the shift lists made in Twitter. I talked about the benefits of preview and review posts (like this one) and gave a somewhat humorous account of why the English language stinks for blogging.

I mentioned some great online hangouts for bloggers and wrote the other most popular post I’ve written so far about what I do when I read a good blog post (which every blogger should read). I questioned why we settle for mediocrity and wrote about the importance of community participation.

I discussed the very best niche for blogging (it’s a trick), how to write great posts from the overflow of your life, and shared five ways to be a trendy blogger.

I challenged you to think about these four little five-minute tasks for building your community and gave you permission to take a day off from blogging. I attempted to provoke some thought about the fact that you don’t just want traffic, you want collisions and posted my list of eleven books on every blogger’s wishlist.

I challenged you about whether your blogging makes an impact and offered some alternatives to the word things in your post titles. I also shared a whole crate full of great links – 76 links here, 80 links here, 50 links here, and 46 more links here.

This month I was privileged to welcome a guest blogger, Derek Jenson who challenged bloggers to write ten posts to ensure the transparency of your blogging niche. You’re going to read more by Derek soon.

Now, on to December! Oh, and did I mention, I became a Mac owner?

I love this idea, but all the hyperlinks is a little hard on the eyes. I have a headache right now, so that could be playing a factor too. ;)
