A Twitter List for Bloggers and Writers – Post Yours Too

Print Friendly

There’s this thing called Twitter… and it has these new things called lists. They’re pretty good for connecting and marketing, even though Chris Brogan isn’t necessarily down with them.

I’m keeping a list of bloggers and writers, which you can see and follow here, but be warned – it’s not complete yet. In fact, it won’t really be “complete” until I’m dead. I also stumbled across Jacob Cass’s recommended lists here (two of which I managed to make).

This is kind of an open thread. You can use the comments to shamelessly self-promote your Twitter profile (make it a link if possible) or your own list of bloggers, or even a list of bloggers on which you’ve been included. Just don’t tell me how to have whiter teeth – I’ve seen enough of that today, which is why I like lists.

  2. Instead of putting my Twitter profile, here is my own list of bloggers I follow:

I add to it as I find new bloggers in the blogosphere, I have a separate list for poets and one for technology.

BTW, the link to your brandon cox blogging writing list is broken, gives a 404 page on Twitter.

Nice blog you have here, some really useful articles!

I’m certainly finding the lists feature really handy; it was getting a little difficult to make sense of the large amount of updates I receive.

And hey, while I’m here: my Twitter feed is at

  6. Hi Brandon

I also love using the list on twitter. It allows me to organise my followers. Because, I was one of those people, who mass follow everyone from twellow directory, so I can get lots of followers. Now, I am having difficulty to identfy who is really following me for the content I publish on my blog. So, new list feature allows me to organise a bit. I think it is very useful to organise, the people you are following. My list is all about bloggers like you and me. But, at the moment I prefer to keep it private, because I don’t want people to follow me, just because they are in my list. I want them to follow me because they like my content.
