We Blog Better’s Best of October

It’s been a very, very fun month as I’ve kicked this blog off. Actually, it’s just over two weeks old at this point, so i think we’ve made tremendous progress. I’ve managed to average blogging several times per day about all kinds of issues related to blogging, and I’ve also managed to plug some really good resources and connect with some other awesome bloggers along the way.

It’s possible that you slept a few hours this month and didn’t get to read everything available about how to blog a little better. So I thought I’d summarize the month of October here at We Blog Better. Here are some things I talked about that I think might be of value…

The second post ever on We Blog Better offered five ways to generation discussion and support blog comments. I offered up some things to think about before you start blogging and then followed up with what to do in your first few days of a new blog which is really boiled down to hard work.

I wanted you to see the immeasurable value of one great fan. I offered a handy list of ping services for your blog and talked about five things bloggers should do on the weekend.

One of my more important posts was ten ways to BE a better blogger. I asked a question about how social search would affect SEO, but nobody answered…

I gave a rather pointed post asking you if you’re really wired for this and talked about the power of personal blogging and blogging about breaking news. I also shared a delicious way to write community-sized articles by using delicious for research. And I mentioned how one tiny blog post can have a huge impact based on a tweet by Seth Godin.

Oh, and I shared a couple of “big weekly list of links for bloggers” that I had culled from my feed reader. I shared 49 links here and 54 more here.
