Out of millions of blogs on the internet, few rise to the top as well-designed. Perhaps we feel that we can type a lot of words and get away with cruddy design, but that mentality really needs to change. If we’re going to blog with excellence, we must be inspired to design the frame in which our content is presented.

Here’s a round up – 25 of my own favorite blog designs (culled mostly from one of my favorite sites: Blog Design Heroes), plus 314 others by way of links to some great showcase posts on other good blogs.

    You’ve shared a nice collection of designs here. I like the look of Tutorial9 and Brian Yerkes, they stand out the most for me.
